I am the entrepreneur behind Forás Capital. I have over 15 years of  experience in strategy formulation, implementation, transformation, scale up  and equity deployment.  

I have been fortunate enough to have leadership roles in both startups and  well-established companies in Ireland, Europe, and the Middle East. My most  recent role was CEO of HALJ, a business employing more than 200 people in diverse sectors, such as hospitality, facility management, construction, and  real estate. I oversaw all the operations and core functions of the company  and its balance sheet. 

I am veteran of McKinsey & Company where I consulted private and public  organizations in strategy formulation and implementation. I received my  bachelor’s degree in international Relations from Brown University (Ivy  League), RI, USA, and a MPhil in Development Studies from University of  Cambridge, UK. 

I am originally from Egypt and grew up with an entrepreneurial father and an  academic mother. They both valued dedication, hard work, and ethics. These  are the traits that stayed with me throughout my journey of life and  professional career. 

My wife, our four children, and I live in Dublin, which we call home since 2014.  We enjoy family picnics, nature walks, and spending time with each other.
